PGM resources at Pana reportedly contained 1.04 Mkg of PGMs with grades reported to reach 17.4 g/t (Interfax Mining and Metals Report, 2001a). In 2001, Russian geologists assessed the possibility of putting the eastern Pana section into commercial production; drilling at the property continued in 2002.
