First MinSouth Quiznight Stretches Grey Cells
On 8th December 2011 MinSouth held its inaugural quiz night with questions set by Nick Eastwood. Teams of four competed for the prize, which was won by the Norway Azerbaijan Alliance Team. Read more

Cheque Presented to MinSouth Sponsored Student

At the December 2010 meeting of MinSouth Professor John Monhemius presented Christopher Blaney with a cheque from MinSouth. Christopher is the first recipient of the MinSouth undergraduate student sponsorship scheme inaugurated in 2010.

Brian Robinson of Mine Rescue will describe the famous rescue of the 33 Chilean Miners in 2010 and the lessons for future rescue operations.
